RACHEL GRAHAM MUSIC
VOCALIST | SONGWRITER | BGV

ABOUT
Rachel Graham is an American singer, songwriter, background vocalist, and vocal arranger. Hailing from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, just outside Philadelphia, her musical journey began in elementary school with musical theater and flute lessons. It was in high school, however, that she truly discovered her passion for music by joining the gospel choir. A standout moment came when she performed “Better Is One Day” with the choir, solidifying her desire for a music career. Throughout her high school years, Rachel honed her skills through private voice lessons, focusing on classical technique and musical theater. She has participated in regional and state singing competitions and has performed the national anthem at various venues in her hometown.

She went on to study music at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, where she received a full tuition scholarship. Rachel recently graduated in the spring of 2024 with a bachelor's degree in Music Industry and a minor in Creative American Music. During her time there, she was involved in various ensembles, including the gospel choir, R&B ensemble, classical choir, and the American Music Ensemble (AME), all of which helped her develop into the versatile musician and songwriter she is today. In the summer of 2022, Rachel traveled with AME to perform at the Popular Music Conference (APME) at Loyola University in New Orleans, where she had the opportunity to showcase an original song and participate in a master class. The following year, AME won a DownBeat Student Music Award for Rachel's original song titled “Call Me,” which was recognized for Best Pop Performance.

Rachel’s original music showcases her soft, soulful vocal timbre, drawing influences from pop, soul, and contemporary R&B. Her unique vocal melodies, combined with heartfelt storytelling, set her apart from other artists. Her debut single, “Mine,” is now available on all streaming platforms, capturing the excitement of new love and deep connection. Currently, she is working on her first album, slated for release in early 2025. Each song was written, arranged, and recorded during her college years, creating a coming-of-age collection that explores identity in your twenties, the complexities of love and loss, and the joy of having fun. This album marks the beginning of her journey in defining her sound and creative vision as an artist and songwriter.
